The Moorings at Lewes originated from an inspired vision: establishing Delaware's only beachside Life Plan Community where seniors could discover both elegant coastal living and complete healthcare assurance within one beautiful setting. Originally conceived by Cadbury Senior Services, a Quaker organization honoring both heritage and innovation, a decade of thoughtful planning culminated in construction on 35 pristine acres adjacent to historic Lewes, welcoming residents in the early 2000s.
Today, The Moorings thrives under an even more robust foundation through Springpoint. As a nationally acclaimed nonprofit senior living leader, Springpoint brings unmatched expertise, financial stability, and comprehensive resources to our Delaware coastal community.
