A Vision for
Our Expanded Campus
In 2023, we initiated a comprehensive exploration to enhance our campus and provide an array of new living options. The result is a thoughtfully crafted plan that includes expanded common areas, upgraded dining experiences, more outdoor living and recreation spaces, and additional apartments and cottage homes.
The proposed plan will mean exciting additions to our community, including two three-story apartment buildings featuring a variety of floor plans, from cozy one-bedroom retreats to luxurious two-bedroom dwellings with den spaces. Additionally, we plan to introduce 21 charming cottage homes, ranging from approximately 1,400 to 1,900 square feet.
New Amenities & What to Expect
We envision an enriched community experience with expanded dining options, including a new Bistro, formal dining, lounge/pub, and outdoor dining. The LivWell center will undergo a transformation with an endless lap pool, a newly designed fitness room, yoga/aerobics studio, and renovated locker rooms. The library and creative arts room will be revitalized and expanded. Outdoor enthusiasts will delight in new amenities, such as pickleball and bocce courts, an outdoor swimming pool, patio spaces, and even a new dog park.
Plans for the project have been submitted for initial review and approvals. We anticipate the approval process by the State of Delaware and local officials to be completed sometime in the fall of 2025. Construction is slated to begin in the summer of 2026, based on the approvals and pre-sales. We anticipate construction of the new buildings and renovations to take 18 – 24 months.
