Quick Summary: Springpoint was honored with the 2025 Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award at the Bronze level, recognizing our commitment to supporting team members across every dimension of well-being. From health screenings and mental health education to financial resources and opportunities for connection, our employee well-being program reflects our belief that taking care of our people helps them provide the best possible experience for residents.

At The Moorings at Lewes, caring for people is at the heart of everything we do. That includes the residents who call our community home, as well as the team members who help make each day meaningful.

That’s why we’re proud to share that Springpoint received the Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award at the Bronze level in 2025. The national recognition celebrates organizations that are making a meaningful difference in employee health and well-being through thoughtful workplace strategies, programs, and policies.

For us, the award is more than a recognition. It reflects an ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where our team members have the support and resources they need to thrive.

What Is the Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award?

The Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award recognizes organizations that have developed comprehensive approaches to employee wellness. Award applicants are evaluated across several areas, including their well-being strategy, communication efforts, programs and policies, incentives, and how they evaluate their wellness initiatives.

Receiving Bronze-level recognition means Springpoint demonstrated a meaningful commitment to building well-being into the employee experience.

That commitment matters because wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. Different people need different kinds of support at different points in their lives.

Wellness That Looks at the Whole Person

Springpoint’s employee well-being program is designed to support more than physical health. It recognizes the connection between physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.

Our workplace wellness programs give team members opportunities to take a proactive approach to their health and build skills that can support them both at work and at home.

Resources include:

  • Health screenings that encourage team members to stay informed about their health
  • Mental health seminars that provide education and practical support
  • Financial education sessions designed to help employees make informed decisions about their finances
  • Wellness resources that extend to spouses and families

That last piece is especially important. Supporting employees means recognizing that work is only one part of a person’s life. When resources benefit the people and families who matter most to our team members, wellness can extend well beyond the workplace.

Why Is Workplace Culture Important?

A healthy workplace culture doesn’t happen simply because an organization offers good benefits. It develops through the everyday experience of being part of a team.

For a senior living community, that experience can have an especially meaningful connection to residents.

Our team members spend their days building relationships, solving problems, celebrating milestones, and helping residents navigate the moments when they need a little extra support. When employees feel valued and supported themselves, they can bring that same sense of care and connection to their work.

That’s one reason investing in people is so important at The Moorings at Lewes. A strong employee experience helps create a stronger resident experience.

Building a Workplace Where People Can Grow

Well-being is also connected to feeling like you have a future where you work.

Springpoint invests in professional development and opportunities for team members to learn and grow throughout their careers. Our Springpoint University program is one example, providing leadership development opportunities for employees across the organization.

These efforts complement our wellness resources by supporting another important part of the employee experience: having opportunities to develop new skills, take on new challenges, and build a career with purpose.

A Culture of Care Extends to Our Team

The 2025 Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award is a meaningful recognition of something we believe every day at The Moorings at Lewes: caring for others starts with caring for the people who provide that care.

Our team members are an essential part of what makes our community feel like home. Their knowledge, compassion, and commitment shape the experience residents have every day.

By continuing to invest in employee well-being, professional growth, and a supportive workplace culture, Springpoint is helping our team members feel their best so they can bring their best to the residents and families we serve.

That’s the kind of investment that reaches everyone in our community.
