The Moorings at Lewes, a Springpoint Life Plan Community, is proud to honor Dr. Manu Sehgal, MD, Medical Director, for being recognized by Delaware Today as a Top Doctor in Geriatrics for 2025. This is the fifth time Dr. Sehgal has earned this remarkable achievement.
Dr. Sehgal, who has served as Medical Director at The Moorings at Lewes since 2011, is also the owner of Sussex Internal Medicine located in Milford, Delaware. His longstanding dedication to excellence in geriatric medicine and compassionate care has earned him repeated distinction as one of Delaware’s finest physicians—he was named Top Doctor in Geriatrics in 2008, 2016, 2022, 2024, and now 2025.
Team members and residents from across The Moorings at Lewes community—including the Skilled Nursing Facility, Safe Harbor Memory Care Center, Assisted Living, and Independent Living neighborhoods—joined together to honor Dr. Sehgal with a spirited celebration featuring remarks of appreciation, refreshments, and heartfelt tributes. Several surprised the Medical Director by wearing shirts that read “I am a patient/I work with Delaware’s Top Toc 2025, Manu Sehgal, MD. What’s your superpower?”
