Who Made The List
U.S. News & World Report determined these ratings by analyzing a wide range of quality measures, including post-acute care quality, nurse staffing consistency, and patient-centered outcomes. Compared to the national average, the 2026 ranked communities:
- Provide 20% more total staffing per resident per day
- Offer 80% more physical therapy per resident per day
- Have a 15% lower rate of hospitalizations for long-term residents
- Have a 33% lower rate of emergency room visits for rehab patients.
This independent survey of The Moorings’ healthcare program highlights the exceptional performance of the community’s clinical and rehabilitation team. Seven other Springpoint communities – The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, Crestwood Manor, Meadow Lakes, The Oaks at Denville, Stonebridge at Montgomery, Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare, and Winchester Gardens – were also recognized in this year’s evaluation.
