The Moorings at Lewes to Host Art Reception

The Moorings at Lewes will host a Wine and Cheese Art Reception on Friday, February 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The reception is open to the public and provides an opportunity for residents of The Moorings at Lewes and guests to view works on display by local artist Kathy Buschi. Artwork will also be available for purchase by cash or check. Wine and refreshments will be served. To attend, guests are asked to RSVP to Jean Carpenter at The Moorings at Lewes at (302) 644-7998.

Kathy is a self-taught artist from Milton, Delaware. She started painting in 1979 after her husband bought her an oil paint set for Christmas. She paints mostly Delaware scenes especially of the Lewes area. Her work has become well known in Delaware and is owned all over the world. She has won many awards but her greatest reward is when people who view her work tell her it makes them feel happy!

Throughout the year, The Moorings at Lewes partners with local-area arts organizations to host meetings, workshops, lectures and exhibits for the enjoyment of residents and the public. For more information about The Moorings at Lewes visit mooringsatlewes.org
